This is the pump piping diagram I made before starting the plumbing.

And here is how the pond is layed out in my backyard.

Let the piping begin. As per the recomendation of Surban Ponds every return, skimmer, and main Drain is piped seperately. Seemed like overkill but what the hell !

All piping is done in schedule 40 with Spears fittings. All connections are primed before glueing.

This picture shows The Aqua Ultraviolet 80 watt UV Sterilizer with swipers, for better water clarity and quality.It is piped to the waterfall run so that it can be removed during winter months.

Here is the filter I put togeather. AquaDyne Bead Filter model 2.2-B, Sequence 1000 series model 6100seq23 delivering 5600 gph @ 4' lift with 10" strianer/ primer pot, and an Alita 40 air pump.

The hole is finally complete with the Firestone liner underlay installed and ready for the liner !
